There is a high side and a low side port. You need to have gages hooked up to both ports, know what pressures they are reading and what exactly those pressures mean. I would HIGHLY recommend taking it to an A/C shop. Those guys will be able to completely draw out everything you now have in your system, filter it and know exactly how much more if any freon needs to go into your system. They will also be able to tell you if there is a leak in your system before you spend all that money on freon. Another good idea is to make sure that they install dye into the system. Not only does that dye condition all the seals in the system it will also tell were a leak is coming from if one later develops.

To answer your question, the port is on the back side of the engine near the firewall. You auctually have to bend down a little to see back to the firewall. There is a silver metal color tube running along the back with a fitting sticking out of it with a black cap on it. That is the port you need. if you want to recharge your system, you can by the DIY kits from Walmart or any autoparts store. But you have to remember that something went wrong for your system not to work any longer. So just make sure that you are not wasting your money trying to recharge your system if there is really something else wrong. Your efforts may be in vain. Good Luck!!
