My car died and it locked my radio. Dealerships have been zero help unless i wanna pay them to enter 4 numbers ibto my radio. I have the six digit code off of the radio. 492 495 if anyone can help id really appreciate it. Thanks
Actually, it isnt in your owners manual. Not sure why people insist on saying that. The only thing that it tells you is how to retrieve the code you need to get the unlock code. It does not tell you the unlock code anywhere in the manual
Sorry, unlike some of these people on here that give out that info freely, I can not due to legal issues. Since there is no way to tell whether or not it is your radio & not a radio that was just stolen. I suggest you go to the dealership. Not sure why people on here give out certain info freely even though could lead to legal action if someone's radio was stolen & that person helped the thief unlock that radio. Not saying you stole it, just saying some things should not be easily accessible on the web

Call the dealer and ask what is needed to get the code from your particular model. Some require the radio to come out in order to get the serial number, with it they can get code from their computer. Sometimes it's on file if you contact original selling dealer, maybe code is on a decal in glove box, in owner's handbook or in fuse panel. There may also be a special procedure as well to get serial number from stereo by using the presets and this would eliminate having to remove the deck.

It's in your owners manual.
