Are you for these details i've been thinking about getting on the car or not?
1.) Rear 1969 Camaro spoiler- It looks great I think, but I dont know if I should get it since its not really original to the car.

2.) 1969 Trans Am Bar grille- Heres what i'm talking about: http://www.ebay.com/itm/1969-FIREBIRD-TRANS-AM-400-GRILLE-BARS-PAIR-NEW-/350252686437?pt=Vintage_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&fits=Year%3A1969%7CSubmodel%3ATrans+Am&hash=item518cafdc65&vxp=mtr

3.) Get brand new reproduction bumpers, or re-chrome the originals i have? They arn't bad but you can tell it is spotted if you get close.

4.) Get new side mirrors, or try to keep the original option the car came with? Which is one ADJUSTABLE side mirror on the drivers side, which is one of the only parts i have trouble finding a replacement for, I HAVE SEARCHED FOR MULTIPLE HOURS trying to find another or reproduction side mirror.

5.) What should i do about my Stereo problem? It seems that the car came with only 2 speakers from the factory which is located IN the dash, should i get a reupholstery dude to cut a hole for the new speakers on the door? Would that devalue the car? Also i want a new Radio to go in the car, should I get a professional to cut a hole in the dash and make it so a one din radio fits inside, or keep original radio and put a aftermarket radio in the glovebox?

6.) Wheel issue. Should i keep white wall tires on there with the original hubcaps or get new rally rims?

7.) What Exhaust system have you guys have the best luck with? I do believe the car has the same exhaust on it since 1969 (haha) so what should i get? Magnaflows, Flowmaster? The car came with duals so i'll keep the car with duals.

8.) The car's front floor pan has little rusted through holes near the weather holes, should i get a new pan or just have someone repair that original pan?

9.) Body Trim? The Car apparently never had any body trim on it. There are now sign that indicate that there was, so should i get body trim or what?

Thanks For your oppinions!

1.) I personally would go with the trans am rear spoiler if I was going to add one. But its really just personal preference there.

2.) Don't know what your question is here, but if your grills are in bad shape go ahead and get new ones if you can afford it. (I would get them from Yearone or Classic Industries if possible)

3.) Go with whatever is cheaper, no one is going to really check if your bumper is numbers matching and there going to look and fit the same

4.) Again, whichever one is cheaper, more than likely rechroming your original mirrors. If you decide to go new, Year one definatly has this part, If you cant find it on their website, call them, they will help you

5.) Personally I would go with the stock speakers in the dash, if you want though they also have low profile speakers that hide under the seats, or you could add 2 speakers to the rear deck where the factory optioned ones went. DO NOT PUT SPEAKERS IN THE DOORS. Not only does it ruin the door panels and looks but your also going to have to cut metal out of the door frame also to make a speaker fit. As for a new radio I would keep the original and hide an aftermarket one, you could also keep the original and they make a device that plugs into the back of your radio where you antenna plugs in and then to the radio that had an auxiliary cable that you could run and hide anywhere.

6.) You could get reproduction white line tires like the original, or go with the goodyear polyglass optional tires like the trans ams, as for the wheels, you could either keep the original ones and repaint them and rechrome the hubcaps or upgrade to the factory optioned Rally II wheels, which I like better.

7.) The stock exhaust was a transversal muffler that went behind the rear end tucked away, single muffler, 2 inlets, 2 outlets. This is just factory, If you want aftermarket I would go Flowmaster, they also make an aftermarket transversal muffler so you can look factory and sound good.

8.) Whichever is cheaper really, If its not much, just a couple of pin holes, its probably going to be cheaper to patch it, but a new floor pan isnt much, just get it done right if you do get it done.

9.) Personally the only trim I like is the rocker panel trim, but if it didnt come with any trim I would leave it off.

**NOTE: making your car original will make it worth more money, but do what makes you happy.

Other people have gotten really specific so I won't get into all the specifics you've named. They've already earned best answer lol.

However, just in general, I would say if you are concerned about resale value or even taking it to legitimate car shows, stock is almost always better than any aftermarket upgrade. If you're just fixing it up to have fun with then do whatever you like best and will be most comfortable with.

just a lil advice stay original. People looking for pontiacs look for that. Fix it up or get diff original parts. And Flowmaster is best on the muscle car. Keep ur original wheels and if they in bad co dition get them redone. And if u want a better lookin wheel buy some but keep ur stock ones for resale
