Change your thermostat, probably never been changed, costs about $10 and takes about 20 minutes to do. Check your cooling fans to make sure both are coming on when the car gets warm. Oh yeah, check coolant level, Lucas won't do much to help. It's a good product, but money well spent somewhere else.

If it's not the thermostat or fans, then your getting into expensive territory like water pump or stopped up radiator.

I'd probably have the car pressure tested for leaks in the cooling system. Probably do the upper and lower radiator hoses along with a thermostat and a coolant flush. Properly Bleed the System. Check and make sure the radiator fan is working properly as well as condensor fan. Also your radiator could possibly be clogged causing the car to almost overheat. Doing the pressure test, hoses, thermostat, and flush should take care of your problem. Hope This Helps ! ! !

I wonder if the thermostat needs changed. If so, its a cheap easy fix. Is it leaking coolant? If so, do you see the coolant on the ground or is it an internal leak
